There is one problem though... You see all of these videos on YouTube and listen to and read reviews from the 'hottest beat producers' who generally all endorse and cosign expensive software and hardware to make their beats. Ever wonder why that is? Did you know that these producers get free stuff from these software companies for testing, reviewing and promoting their software? Did you know that you don't need to use expensive software to make hard, hittin' beats? I'm not just saying that. It's true. This is the information that producers would rather not share with you,
The beat making industry is very competitive. Producers do not like to share their 'secrets' because they fear losing to someone else, probably likely with mare artistic talent. There producers all sound the same -- mainly because they all use the same few vst plugins to make their beats and the same samples.
I'm going to share with you, just for my own fun and hobby, that you can produce DOPE beats without paying a single dime, or if you want, next to nothing -- literally a buck or two. Who can't afford that? Free or maybe $2 or $3 here or there? Or $0, you decide. 99.99% of the vsts I use are 100% freeware.
